The Eurasian Lubricants Show 2025, held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center, featured over 100 companies and representatives specializing in various fields such as lubricants, industrial oils, chemicals, and additives. In its first year, the event welcomed 2,132 visitors from 23 countries. Organized in collaboration with the Mineral Oil and Petroleum Products Manufacturers Association (MAPESAD), the fair featured 96 companies and company representatives from 16 countries. Bringing together regional and international players active in the fields of mineral oils, industrial oils, chemicals, additives, and technologies, the fair stands out as an important meeting point.

At the fair, which brought together leading names in the mineral oil sector, CNG Expo Events CEO Cengiz YAMAN, ZUCDER President Burak ÖNDER, IDDMIB Vice Chairman Talha ÖZGER, European Lubricants Industry Association (UEIL) President Mattia ADANI, MAPESAD Chairman Tayfun KOÇAK, and TOBB Chemical Industry Assembly Chairman Timur ERK shared their expectations and goals for the future of the sector, evaluating the fair's contribution and importance to the industry. The Eurasian Lubricants Show Fair, which will be held every two years, will grow even more in 2027 and contribute to the development of the sector...
Mattia ADANI, President of the European Lubricants Industry Association (UEIL): "I find this event very important because it is the first meeting dedicated to the lubricants sector in Turkey and the Eurasia region. Our goal is to connect Europe and Asia in our sector. Throughout history, Europe and Turkey, and Eurasia in a broader sense, have always been economically connected. Lubricants have become an integral part of human civilization. Professionals in our sector are generally cautious, relationship-oriented, and reputation-conscious; therefore, events organized by CNG Expo and MAPESAD are very valuable. These events allow professionals to come together, establish lasting connections, and share knowledge. I am looking forward to participating in the panels and discussions at this event. I hope this will be the first in a long series of similar events."
THE MINERAL OIL SECTOR IS OF GREAT IMPORTANCE IN THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
Tayfun Koçak, President of the Mineral Oil and Petroleum Products Manufacturers Association (MAPESAD): "About a year ago, when Mr. Cengiz visited our association during the CNG fair, he mentioned that there was a growing trend toward sector-specific fairs around the world and that there was particular interest in this sector. He said to me: ‘Why don't we have an oil-related fair in Turkey? Why aren't we doing this? Let's do it together.’ These words really excited me. When I shared this idea with my colleagues in the sector, everyone agreed. We reached a consensus on the contributions such a fair would make to Turkey, and thus laid the foundations for this fair about a year ago. Looking at Turkey's geographical location, we are a country that can reach 70 different countries within approximately 4 hours of flight time: Europe to the west and north, Russia and Asia to the east, and the Middle East to the south. Therefore, holding such a fair in Turkey is of great importance. There are only two or three major trade fairs in the world that focus directly on mineral oils. The fact that one of these is taking place in Turkey is a source of great joy and pride for us. We firmly believe that this event, which will be held every October, will continue to grow. The mineral oil sector occupies an important place within the chemical industry. When we look at the world's ten most developed countries, we see that these countries are also leaders in the field of chemistry.

EURASIAN LUBRICANTS SHOW 2025, THE FIRST AND ONLY FAIR IN THE REGION
CNG Expo Events CEO Cengiz YAMAN: "We are justifiably proud to organize this fair, which is held in only three different countries worldwide, in Turkey. As the first and only fair in the region, this event is the first specialized fair for the mineral oil and industrial oils sector. The fact that companies in the sector did not have their own specialized fair until now meant that they had to participate in fairs for different sectors as a supplement. The Eurasian Lubricants Fair, as the first specialized fair visited by the right B2B buyers, will contribute to increasing exports to both neighboring countries and the Middle East region. I have infinite faith that the Eurasian Lubricants Show Congress and Fair, which will be held every two years, will continue to grow," he said.
Timur ERK, Chairman of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB) Chemical Industry Council: "Turkey needs a chemical industry policy to develop its great potential. Wherever you look, you see chemistry. There are indicators of development. One of the most important factors among these is the development of the chemical industry. Therefore, a developing Turkey has a developing chemical industry. In terms of figures, exports are estimated to be around $29-30 billion. But what does this include? It includes mineral oils. This is a very large sector. You are also important stakeholders in this sector. I sincerely hope that this fair, held for the first time in Turkey, will be effective and productive."
