Toprak Razgatlioglu Hungarian Grand Prix weekend marks another important chapter in the Turkish rider’s debut MotoGP campaign. As MotoGP’s first-ever Turkish rider, the Red Bull-backed athlete will compete in Round 8 of the 2026 season at Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit.
The three-time World Superbike champion will represent Prima Pramac Yamaha aboard the Yamaha YZR-M1 throughout the race weekend. Track action begins on Friday with free practice sessions, followed by qualifying and the Sprint race on Saturday before Sunday’s main Grand Prix.
Razgatlioglu arrives in Hungary following a career-best MotoGP finish at Le Mans, where he crossed the line in 13th position. The result highlighted his growing adaptation to the premier class as he continues to gain experience and improve his competitiveness race after race.
After securing WorldSBK titles in 2021, 2024, and 2025, Razgatlioglu stepped up to MotoGP and remains one of the most closely watched rookies on the grid. The Hungarian Grand Prix presents another opportunity for the Turkish star to continue his progression in motorcycle racing’s highest category.
