BMW Group, which includes the BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad brands and is distributed in Turkey by Borusan Otomotiv, announced its 2025 financial results and future targets at a press conference held digitally. Achieving a net profit of €7.4 billion, BMW Group delivered 2.46 million vehicles globally in 2025, strengthening its leadership in the premium segment by increasing electric vehicle sales. Launching the NEUE KLASSE era with the new BMW iX3, the company aims to introduce more than 40 new models to the market by 2027.
Despite challenging global economic conditions and rising tariffs, BMW Group maintained its stable performance in 2025 thanks to its strong product portfolio, balanced global operations, and disciplined cost management. In 2025, BMW Group's pre-tax profit reached €10.2 billion, with a pre-tax profit margin of 7.7%. Group net profit of €7.45 billion maintained its strong performance, exceeding that of the previous year.
BMW AG Chairman of the Board Oliver Zipse, in his assessment of the results, highlighted the importance of the company's long-term strategic approach, stating: “Thanks to our open-minded approach to technology, our strong global operational structure, and our inspiring brands, we established the right strategic positioning for the future years ago. Today, even in a challenging environment, we can continue to implement our strategy with determination without having to change direction. Thanks to our strong financial performance, broad product portfolio, and open-minded approach to technology, we have further strengthened our leadership in the premium segment in 2025. The new era we have launched with the NEUE KLASSE creates significant momentum for our company's future growth.”

Electrification Continues to Be a Driving Force for Growth
BMW Group’s electrification strategy continued to be a key driver of growth in 2025. The company delivered over 442,000 fully electric vehicles worldwide during the year. This means that one in every six BMW Group vehicles sold is fully electric.
When plug-in hybrid models are included, total electric vehicle deliveries exceeded 642,000 units, representing approximately 25% of total sales.
BMW Group also reached significant milestones in its electric mobility journey. Starting with the BMW i3 and BMW i8 models in 2013, the company delivered its 1.5 millionth fully electric vehicle in June 2025. The company aims to deliver its two millionth fully electric vehicle by 2026.
2.4 Million Deliveries Worldwide
BMW Group maintained its sales at the same level as the previous year, delivering a total of 2.46 million premium vehicles worldwide in 2025.
The BMW 5 Series and the compact BMW X2 stood out as the strongest-growing models within the BMW brand. The performance-oriented BMW M brand broke sales records for the fourteenth consecutive year, delivering over 213,000 vehicles and reaching its highest sales level in brand history. For the first time in history, one in every 10 BMWs delivered was a BMW M model.
MINI increased its sales by 17.7% to over 288,000 units, driven by its new model family, with fully electric models accounting for over 36% of sales. Thus, one in every three MINIs sold worldwide was electric.
BMW Motorrad, despite the contraction in the global motorcycle market, achieved sales of over 200,000 units for the fourth consecutive year. The R 1300 GS and F 900 GS models, in particular, played a significant role in the brand's growth.
40 New Models by 2027
NEUE KLASSE, at the heart of BMW Group's future strategy, represents the beginning of a new era in the company's electric mobility transformation. The first model on the platform, the all-electric New BMW iX3, has seen strong demand, particularly in the European market, following its world premiere in 2025. Approximately one-third of all all-electric BMW orders in Europe are for the BMW iX3.
Due to high demand, production at the Debrecen plant in Hungary has begun operating on a two-shift system. The design unveiling of the second model in the NEUE KLASSE family, the all-electric BMW i3, is scheduled for March 18th in Munich.
BMW Group aims to expand its product range by introducing more than 40 new or updated models to the market by 2027. These models will include the new generations of the BMW 3 Series and BMW X5, offered with a full range of driving technologies.
Stable Growth in 2026
BMW Group expects the global automotive market to remain generally stable in 2026. Growth potential is projected to continue in the European and American markets, while sales in China are expected to remain close to previous year's levels.
The company forecasts that global deliveries in 2026 will be close to 2025 levels and that fully electric vehicles will maintain their share of total sales.
