"We will represent Turkey's engineering and industrial competence even more strongly and proudly globally."

Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan commented on the acquisition: "This investment in the acquisition of a majority stake in SamAuto represents a strategic milestone in Anadolu Isuzu's global growth journey. This initiative, Anadolu Group's first overseas production step in the automotive sector, not only increases our production capacity but also brings together our competencies in technology, digitalization, and product development with a regional powerhouse. In line with our regional leadership goal within the Anadolu Group's Vision 2035 strategy, we aim to make modern transportation solutions more accessible across a wide geography encompassing Central Asia and to create a stronger production and innovation network on an international scale. Anadolu Isuzu will make an impact across a wide region with its production power.

Exporting innovative products developed in its R&D center and manufactured in its own production facilities to over 45 countries, Anadolu Isuzu continues its international growth journey with determination, expanding its export geography with strong strides every day. With this investment, Anadolu Isuzu is on its way to becoming a strategic integrated production center, operating across a wide geography. With this acquisition, it is planned to add some models produced at SamAuto facilities to Anadolu Isuzu's product range, and to manufacture some Anadolu Isuzu models at the SamAuto factory as well.

SamAuto's commercial vehicle production competence will be strengthened by Anadolu Isuzu's experience.

Operating from its production facility in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, since 1999 and headquartered in Tashkent, SamAuto offers a wide range of commercial vehicles, including buses, trucks, pickup trucks, and special-purpose vehicles. Operating in partnership with Japan's Isuzu and Itochu since 2007, the company is among the leading companies in commercial vehicle production in Central Asia.
