Škoda has shared the first details of the Peaq, a model that will be positioned at the top of its SUV range. This fully electric SUV, which will be the brand's largest and widest model, will join the product range in mid-2026.
Developed on the Vision 7S concept, the Peaq will expand Škoda's electric model family towards the upper segment and will play a key role in the brand's goal of doubling the number of fully electric models by 2026. Developed on the MEB platform and manufactured at the Mladá Boleslav plant in the Czech Republic, the Peaq stands out as a strategic model in Škoda's electric transformation process.

Over 600 kilometer range, 7-seat option
Measuring approximately 4.9 meters in length, the Peaq will be offered in five or seven-seat configurations. The model boasts a strong long-distance performance, offering a range of over 600 kilometers. The five-seat version features a luggage capacity of up to 1,010 liters, the highest ever offered by the brand. The seven-seat version offers 299 liters of luggage space, plus an additional 37 liters of storage under the hood.
The strongest interpretation of the “Modern Solid” design language
The new Peaq represents the most advanced example of Škoda’s “Modern Solid” design language. The illuminated black Tech-Deck front face, slim vertical details, and LED rear lighting draw attention, while the 18-segment Matrix LED headlights provide high visibility in all driving conditions. With aerodynamic wheel options ranging from 19 to 21 inches and a total of 10 different body colors, the model delivers a strong and modern appearance.
A spacious, comfort-focused living area
Škoda’s new electric flagship, the Peaq, stands out with its spacious interior and comfort-oriented solutions. Thanks to a wheelbase approaching 3 meters, it offers above-class legroom and headroom, especially for passengers in the second and third rows.
The Peaq is offered with five different cabin designs that can be tailored to user preferences. All cabin options come standard with ambient lighting and a heated multifunction steering wheel featuring the Škoda logo. The Sportline version includes a three-spoke steering wheel and regenerative braking paddles, while other versions feature a two-spoke steering wheel design.
Sustainability also plays a key role in the Peaq’s cabin. Selected versions use completely animal-free materials, and more than 50 kilograms of recycled materials are used throughout the vehicle.
A “wellness” experience on the road
The new Škoda Peaq is equipped with next-generation technologies that make long journeys more comfortable and enjoyable. The optional Relax Package aims to transform the cabin into a relaxation space during driving. It includes AGR-certified massage seats, electrically adjustable ergonomic leg supports, integrated headrest cushions for the front seats, and a foldable table. At the center of the system is an integrated “wellness” application offering six different modes.
These modes can be adjusted according to different needs such as relaxation, stretching, and re-energizing. When activated, the application simultaneously optimizes the climate control, ambient lighting, and seat massage functions to deliver a holistic comfort experience.
A first for Škoda: Sonos collaboration
With the Peaq, Škoda introduces a Sonos signature in its premium sound system for the first time. Known for its high-quality home audio systems, Sonos worked closely with Škoda to adapt its sound technology specifically for in-car use. The resulting system combines the brand’s characteristic clarity with a balanced listening experience and immersive, three-dimensional acoustic performance. As a result, the Peaq becomes not only a comfortable vehicle but also a mobile living space offering a premium audio experience.
Three different power options
Škoda’s new electric SUV, the Peaq, comes with three different powertrain options that combine performance and efficiency. The model will be available in 60, 90, and 90x versions, offering power outputs ranging from 150 kW to 220 kW, appealing to a wide range of users.
The 90 and 90x versions offer a range of over 600 kilometers, making them a strong alternative for long-distance driving. All versions feature fast-charging capabilities, with the battery charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes using DC fast charging. In the 60 version, this time drops to as low as 27 minutes.
Thanks to the high torque of the electric motor and a low center of gravity, the Peaq also stands out with its dynamic driving characteristics. The most powerful version in the lineup, the all-wheel-drive 90x, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, targeting performance-oriented users.
Innovative technologies in the Škoda Peaq
The Peaq draws attention with innovative features offered for the first time in Škoda’s production models. The vehicle stands out with details that enhance both aerodynamic efficiency and design integrity. The body-integrated hidden door handles, used for the first time in the Peaq, retract completely when the vehicle is in motion or locked, improving airflow and contributing to aerodynamic efficiency. When the driver approaches with the key, the handles automatically extend outward.
Additionally, the door handles can also be opened mechanically by pressing the front section. This system provides a high level of convenience and safety while supporting the vehicle’s modern and clean appearance.
Another standout innovation is the panoramic glass roof with Dynamic Shade Control technology. This electrochromic system can adjust the light transmission of the glass using electric current.
The roof, consisting of nine separate segments, allows users to choose between three preset modes or manually customize it via the infotainment screen. As the largest panoramic glass roof ever offered by Škoda, this system elevates the Peaq’s spacious cabin experience to the next level.
Android-based system and 13.6-inch display in the Škoda Peaq
The Peaq also stands out with its advanced digital infrastructure and user-focused technologies. The new-generation Android-based infotainment system offers extensive personalization options and a wide application ecosystem.
In addition to Škoda’s own applications, the system supports popular apps such as Spotify, YouTube, and Google Maps. The new digital mobile key feature introduced with the Peaq eliminates the need for a physical key. Access to the vehicle can be provided via a smartphone or smartwatch, offering great convenience, especially for vehicles used by multiple drivers.
Key driving information can be monitored via the 10-inch digital instrument cluster, while the centrally positioned 13.6-inch vertical infotainment display enhances the user experience with touch controls. An optional augmented reality head-up display projects critical driving information directly into the driver’s field of vision.
The Škoda Peaq goes beyond being just a means of transportation by playing an active role in energy management. Thanks to the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature, the energy stored in the high-voltage battery can be used to power external devices such as electric bikes or caravans. In addition, Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) technology is supported with the Ambibox DC Wallbox. This allows the Peaq to serve as a power source for a home or workplace when needed. With its advanced digital infrastructure, expansive display experience, and energy-sharing technologies, the Škoda Peaq takes electric mobility to a smarter and more functional level.
