Pirelli Türkiye's R&D team demonstrated its focus on next-generation, AI-powered solutions in tire technologies by sharing its innovative solutions at two major international events in 2026.

Pirelli Turkey's R&D team showcased the technologies they developed to global stakeholders at Tire Technology Expo 2026 and Innovation Conference 2026, two leading industry events.
Türker Yetik, Pirelli Turkey's R&D Manager, stated that competition in tire technologies is now shaped not only by product performance but also by data and artificial intelligence-based solutions: “International platforms like Tire Technology Expo 2026 and Innovation Conference 2026 are of great importance in terms of sharing the technologies we develop on a global scale. With our AI-based solutions, we are addressing tire performance and safety with a more proactive approach, aiming to advance our quality processes.”
Technical Agenda and AI Solutions Take Center Stage in Hannover
At Tire Technology Expo 2026 held in Hannover, Germany, the Pirelli Turkey R&D team participated in technical sessions and had the opportunity to share their developed solutions with international attendees. The event addressed current industry developments in critical areas such as tire mechanics, material behavior, mathematical modeling and simulation, and fatigue testing.
The Pirelli Turkey R&D team also introduced its patented AI-based solution at the event. This technology stands out with its advanced data analysis capabilities aimed at improving tire performance and safety.
Innovative Project Presentation at Innovation Conference 2026
At Innovation Conference 2026, held at Pirelli's headquarters in Milan, the R&D team presented a significant project that strengthens the company's internal innovation culture.
The team shared their AI-based tire failure detection solution via a poster presentation, showcasing preliminary work on a system capable of instantly and data-drivenly analyzing the onset of failures during high-speed tests. This solution, still under development, aims to significantly contribute to testing and quality processes.
Pirelli's R&D efforts contribute to the early management of quality risks while also aiming for increased efficiency in testing and production processes. The company continues to increase the global visibility of its R&D outputs through such international platforms.
