Skoda is celebrating its 23rd year as the main partner of the Tour de France while introducing its new electric models, the Epiq and Peaq, to a broad international audience during the race.
At the 113th Tour de France, taking place from July 4 to 26, Škoda's new seven-seat electric flagship, the Peaq, will serve as the iconic "Red Car", the mobile command centre used by the race director, on 12 of the 21 stages. The plug-in hybrid Superb iV will take over this role during the remaining nine stages.
Skoda will also provide a fleet of 225 vehicles for race officials. The brand continues its sponsorship of the green jersey awarded to the points classification leader and has designed new trophies inspired by its Modern Solid design language.
The Tour de France will provide a major international showcase for Škoda's new fully electric Epiq and Peaq models. The urban-focused compact SUV Epiq represents the entry point to the brand's electric vehicle range, while the seven-seat Peaq is positioned as its new electric flagship.
The 113th Tour de France will start in Barcelona, Spain, on July 4 and finish on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on July 26. A total of 184 cyclists from 23 teams will compete across a 3,333-kilometre route.
Škoda's long-standing partnership with the Tour de France reflects the company's cycling heritage. Founded as a bicycle manufacturer in 1895, the brand also supports major cycling events including the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, La Vuelta, L'Étape and competitions organised under the UCI.
In Türkiye, Škoda continues this commitment through its support for the L'Étape Türkiye Series under the sponsorship of Yüce Auto-Škoda.
