Škoda achieved a 12.7% year-on-year growth in 2025, driven by increasing global customer demand. Reaching the highest sales volume in its history in Türkiye and closing a record year, Škoda sold a total of 1,043,900 vehicles worldwide last year amid strong demand in global markets. With this performance, Škoda recorded its highest sales figure of the past six years.
Sales of fully electric and plug-in hybrid Škoda models increased by 25.7% compared to the previous year, contributing significantly to the brand’s strong sales performance. Accordingly, one out of every four Škoda vehicles sold last year was an electrified model, either fully electric or plug-in hybrid.

Europe’s Third Most Preferred Brand
In 2025, Škoda delivered over 836,000 vehicles to customers across Europe, finishing the year as the third most preferred brand in the region. Germany became Škoda’s largest market with 211,100 units sold, representing a 12.8% increase, followed by the Czech Republic with 91,800 units and the United Kingdom with 83,300 units as the brand’s other strongest markets. Poland, with 65,200 units, and France, with 50,800 units, followed, while Türkiye also became one of Škoda’s key markets, achieving a new record level of 45,321 units sold.
Škoda continued its expansion by increasing sales in India by 96% to more than 70,000 units, while further strengthening its global presence through the start of new model production in Vietnam and its entry into the Saudi Arabian market.
Škoda Also Ranks Among the Top Brands in E-Mobility
Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands stood out as Škoda’s strongest markets in terms of e-mobility, while electric and hybrid models accounted for 25.7% of total sales in Europe. Škoda’s first fully electric model in the compact SUV segment, Elroq, became one of the most preferred electric vehicles in many markets and played a key role in electrification by ranking second in Europe. Thanks to the success of its electric product range, Škoda also ranked fourth among brands producing only electric vehicles, achieving a 6.8% market share.
In 2025, sales of electric models more than doubled compared to the previous year, reaching 218,700 units. Accordingly, the brand sold 174,900 fully electric vehicles and 43,800 plug-in hybrid vehicles.
Octavia Remains at the Top
Škoda’s most preferred model in 2025 once again was the Octavia, with over 190,000 units sold. The Octavia was followed by the Kodiaq with 130,400 units, the Kamiq with 125,900 units, and the Fabia with 119,100 units.
Continuing its momentum into 2026, the brand will maintain its focus on innovation, launching the all-new SUV model Epiq in the first half of the year, followed by the introduction of the new seven-seat SUV, Peaq.
