BMW has extended its electric mobility vision into the world of watersports with the launch of the BMW x SipaBoards e-SUP in Türkiye. Developed in partnership with SipaBoards, the model combines electric propulsion technology with a self-inflating standup paddleboard platform, bringing BMW’s Neue Klasse philosophy to open waters.
Designed to enhance the paddleboarding experience, the integrated electric motor provides additional propulsion assistance when facing wind or currents. The specially developed drive unit operates almost silently while allowing riders to reach speeds of up to 7.5 km/h.
The board features a connected ecosystem that includes Bluetooth connectivity, a dedicated mobile application, and a paddle-mounted remote control. Users can create routes, track their location via GPS, monitor battery levels, and remotely manage key functions through their smartphones. Safety is further enhanced by an automatic motor shut-off system that activates if the paddle enters the water.

Created by BMW Group Designworks, the e-SUP reflects the design principles of BMW’s Neue Klasse era. Available in Mint Blue, Violet Rush, and Storm Grey, the board combines premium styling with advanced functionality, including a carbon fiber paddle inspired by BMW’s next-generation vehicle interfaces.
The SipaMount system offers 17 attachment points for accessories such as cameras, speakers, waterproof bags, coolers, and beverage holders. An integrated LED ambient lighting system beneath the board improves visibility during nighttime sessions while creating a distinctive visual effect on the water.
Powered by two 90 Wh batteries with a combined capacity of 180 Wh, the BMW x SipaBoards e-SUP delivers up to three hours of electrically assisted paddling. The limited-production model is now available through Borusan Otomotiv dealerships and service centers with a starting price of €4,000 plus VAT.
