Canias ERP Hyundai Motor Group collaboration has emerged as a notable example of digital transformation in the automotive industry. Developed by IAS, the ERP platform enables Hyundai Motor Group to manage manufacturing operations across multiple countries through a unified system.

Initially launched in South Korea, the project later expanded to manufacturing facilities in Malaysia, Kazakhstan, and Saudi Arabia. Supported by nearly 200 engineers, the implementation included more than 100 system integrations and rebuilt Hyundai Motor Group’s CKD production processes on the Canias ERP platform.

The first live deployment took place in Malaysia in July 2025, followed by simultaneous launches in Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia. Thanks to its modular architecture, the platform allows different regulatory requirements and production workflows to be managed within a single digital ecosystem.

A major milestone was reached when the first Kia Sorento was produced at Hyundai Motor Group’s Kazakhstan facility using the new ERP infrastructure. IAS Vice Chairman Can Hakan Karabiber described the initiative as one of the company’s most significant international digital transformation achievements.

The partnership highlights the growing role of enterprise software and integrated manufacturing systems in supporting the future of global automotive production.
