Pirelli P Zero R and P Zero Trofeo RS, original equipment tires for sports cars, are now available on the replacement market. The experience gained from these tires, specifically developed for the highest-performing models in the prestige and premium segments, is now available to all ultra-high-performance tire seekers who want to fully utilize the potential of their vehicles.

The P Zero R and P Zero Trofeo RS represent the pinnacle of the P Zero range and are used on over 60 models, from European sports cars and supercars to American muscle cars, as a result of joint development with leading luxury car manufacturers. This quality has been recently confirmed by tests conducted by the independent publication Tyre Reviews; Tyre Reviews named the P Zero R the number one performance tire of 2026, describing it as an "impressive victory" thanks to its dry and wet performance.

P Zero R and P Zero Trofeo RS: Top-Level Performance for Sports Cars

The P Zero family represents Pirelli's technological leadership in delivering long-lasting safety and performance. The P Zero R is primarily developed for sports cars and top-performing models in the prestige segment, while the P Zero Trofeo RS is designed to provide maximum track performance for sports cars and supercars, while also being suitable for on-road use.

Thanks to newly formulated compounds, the P Zero R provides excellent grip on different asphalt types and in various weather conditions, with particular attention to wet handling, and its tread pattern minimizes road noise. This versatility is largely due to the choice of materials in the tread compound. The performance of the P Zero R was recently confirmed once again by Tyre Reviews; the tire was rated best among eight ultra-high-performance summer tires in the 235/35 R19 size. It excelled in both braking and handling on dry surfaces. In wet surface tests, it won the wet handling trial and topped the braking test: Tyre Reviews commented, "It inspires great confidence even in extreme driving conditions."

The P Zero Trofeo RS is a semi-slick tire whose main strength is high performance and consistency. It maintains its high performance over time, even in the most challenging track conditions, allowing the driver to fully utilize the vehicle's potential for many laps. Since its launch, it has proven the high level of performance offered by this semi-slick tire by setting records in various categories on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the world's toughest test track.

Manufactured with the Most Advanced Technologies

New sizes, improved in Pirelli’s R&D Center simulator in Milan, which allows for the virtual development of new products, are manufactured using MIRS (Modular Integrated Robot System) robots and the most advanced innovations dedicated to ultra-high-performance tire production. MIRS technology is used at the Settimo Torinese plant in Italy and, particularly, at the Rome, Georgia plant in the USA, where production of the new aftermarket product range for the American market, sports cars, and local muscle cars is concentrated.

To meet the diverse needs of customers, Pirelli offers a range of innovative solutions for original equipment tires, from Elect technology designed to enhance the capabilities of electric vehicles; to RunFlat, which allows continued driving even after a blowout; to PNCS (Pirelli Noise Cancellation System), which reduces cabin noise through a special sound-absorbing material inside the tire; and to Cyber Tyre, which collects real-time information from in-tire sensors to improve both safety and performance.
