The Charging Sector Quickly Keeps Pace with Rising Electric Vehicle Sales!

The rapid growth in the electric vehicle (EV) market over the past two years has also brought about a historic momentum in charging infrastructure. According to data from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), as of August 2025, there are a total of 33,592 active charging sockets in Turkey. Of these, 14,308 are DC (fast) and 19,284 are AC (slow). During the same period, the number of electric vehicles registered for traffic reached 310,668, recording an increase of over 100% compared to the previous year.
