The new BYD Atto 3 can be fully charged in 9 minutes

Chinese automotive giant BYD has officially unveiled the refreshed BYD Atto 3, adding a new member to its fully electric lineup. The brand, which has gained significant popularity in Türkiye, introduced the updated model during a dedicated launch event.

Compared to its predecessors, the new Atto 3 aims to deliver notable improvements in performance, range, and charging capabilities.
Positioned in the crossover segment, the vehicle stands out with its rounded lines and the brand’s signature “dragon face” front design, representing a more modern evolution of the Atto 3 Evo.
In terms of dimensions, the model measures 4,665 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height. The wheelbase has been extended by 50 mm to enhance interior space, while a full-width LED light bar has been added to the rear. The vehicle maintains a five-seat layout,
and its trunk capacity has been increased from 490 liters to 750 liters.
The new Atto 3 will initially be available in two versions in the Chinese market. The entry-level model produces 268 horsepower and features a 57.5 kWh LFP battery, offering a range of up to 540 km. The higher-end version delivers 321 horsepower and comes with a 68.5 kWh battery, extending the range to as much as 630 km.
Equipped with the company’s Blade Battery technology, the model also stands out in fast-charging performance, capable of charging from 10% to 97% in just 9 minutes.
Inside, a more refined and conventional layout has been adopted. While the central infotainment display remains, the digital instrument cluster is now integrated behind the steering wheel in a more traditional position.
The vehicle was showcased at the Beijing Auto Show, though its official pricing has not yet been announced.
